Headunits...

Hi,i jus thought id ask if any one else has got there headunit surround on,cos mines bin in for a while now an jus thought id ask,as i cant get mine on wiv it being a double din slot an all, jus thought id ask

yeah I -can- get mine on... but this leaves the angle out a little and in the extreme case of heading out to one of my friend's places which is on the roughest dirt road ever... can cause it to skip so I chose to mount the unit a little further back and just leave the surround off.. no problems with music no matter how much that road shakes the **** out of my car

if you file the edge of the plastic bit on the surround (the dashboard not the radio) then you can get the radio on. I'm not using the cage for my stereo, just using the DIN screws and it vibrates a bit so bicycle inner tube to dampen might be in order!

Im not using the surround (still looks good) and not using the cage just the din screws

yer im using no cage or surround,no problem wiv vibrations as its a mini disc player,but all iev dun is the lil but of grey metal u cud see is jus top it off wiv a black permo marker
