2006 Rav4 Power Folding Mirrors - what stops?

I've swapped the passenger door mirror out on my Rav4, old one smashed on a tree trunk.

Car is UK, Toyota Rav4 2.2 D-4D XT4 4WD 5dr (06 - 07).

The new mirror (breakers yard)  looks the same, same part number, but activate the power folding and it folds until it touches the window glass.  Driver side stops a couple of cm short.

Anyone know what actually stops them folding?  Part looks identical and was in excellent condition but I would not expect this to be a calibrated part!

I'm not familiar with the part but it's usually a servo motor - hopefully you can locate it in the assembly.

Then google "servo motor travel adjustment".

Not hugely helpful, but hope it gets you started.
