How do you remove MK2 side view mirror covers / caps?

Hi.

I've bought a set of chrome Aygo wing mirror covers / caps, but I'm just not sure how to remove the old. Do I take out the actual mirror in the cluster and then push the cover from behind, or do I somehow pull it from the front?

For a 2015 MK2.

tilt the mirror back and pop the the mirror off with a trim tool you can then unclip the mirror cap
