I'm away from the owners handbook at the moment and need to add some oil (probably less than 0.5L)

Nearest Halfords has no 0w20 in stock at all. can I use 5w20 to top up?(they have Petronas Syntium 5000 5w20)

(I'll be doing an oil change in the next few thousand miles)

Thanks

You can add any oil except 20w50 , without joke now you may check nearest wilko store they sell 0w20 and other suitable 5w30. But 5w20 should be ok. 👍

Here's part of the instruction manual I posted before. Don't remember what age the book was.. probably very recent.

You can use anything from 0w20, 5w20, 0w30 to 5w30 as long as it is Fully synthetic oil.  In fact you might get away with 0w40 & 5w40, as the difference between 30 & 40 were actually very small.
