My Dad’s 2022 CHR is much quieter than my 2020 Corolla - engine noise at least.

All corolla have road noise (in my opinion, the weakest point of this amazing car)...my 15y old peugeot 308 was better.

I emailed Toyota direct and the reply was that the base models, Active and Icon (I assume this includes Icon Tech) have less soundproofing.
