Smoking

Hi all my rav 4 is smoking now and then I have read mite be injector  5 is it ok to unplug it and drive to see if this helps any ideas so confusing

Which model? If the 4.3 diesel there is a VERY long topic on this (can’t search on phone now). 
Fastest thing is to put a clamp on the fuel line to that injector, drive around and see if it stops. 
Otherwise many ideas but no definite solution (Toyota tried 3x to fix it and failed; my indie coded out the fifth injector and it stopped, but still smells of unburned fuel).

Sorry, the above assumes it is white smoke smelling of fuel, not black smoke
