Boot stuck shut

Hi. The boot of my 07 toyota avensis won't  open. I can hear it unlocking but it won't open. I can't enter the boot through the back seats.

You should be able to either remove a plastic cover or remove the boot trim to access the lock. 

I've done it but it was a while ago and I can't remember exactly but I'm sure you just need to pull the lever between the switch and the lock.
