Alert warning noise for ...?

Hello all,

We have a Yaris 2019 hatch and keeping getting a alert in the sound of a deafening beep in the middle of driving it's a nuisance rather than being useful.   I've tried switching off the RSA and lane departure but to no avail..

Why does it beep? The video is a demonstration, it beeps about 28 seconds into the clip.

Any suggestions...

Some sort of safety camera close by … is my guess..

Sounds like a speed camera warning

There is a Traffic Signal Camera warning sign on the route, just after the alert tone. Possibly why the tone was heard.

Exactly as above as you turned at the junction onto a new road your navigation warning of a traffic safety/speed camera if you had the nav screen on an icon would appear and a countdown to the camera would be shown, if you hear the noise just be aware you are approaching a camera.

I think yes. Go into the navigation options and look for anything about speed camera alert.

Thank you.  Will that be on the centre console (hifi etc) or the driver interface?

Centre unit …. either under (main) settings or under navigation >settings.
