These cars are jap imports they use a standard ISO for FM as can be seen in OP's posts, those adapters are not required for this application

op has the camera working, it uses a 4 pin connector, not the usually ones £25-£30 vs 10 min to tap and solder 4 wires

AS these are JDM cars all the technical info is in Japanese

Thanks Ian for the link and information. I think after the long debate here, I understand now the OEM head unit has Amplifier built in to boost the radio signals but for after market unit you need signal to amplify AM and FM radio signals with additional small device which I will try and report back here.

the amplifier for FM is in the antenna base it is fed by pin 8 on the 10 pin connector

Make sure the antenna power is turned on in the setting and verify in the 12v coming from the radio

Just take the Blue wire on the adapter and Connect to 12v.

It does not use an adapter, please read page 1

OEM radio

As you can clearly see, it uses a standard ISO aerial plug

Thanks for your reply, I did some search and found a mating connector for new unit from Halford. I will remove the original fitted connector and solder wires to new connector and will report back here that how successful was the experiment. I think normally you have problem with steering switches operation with Chines head units but will report with pictures.
