Replacing rear wiper - how to remove from wiper arm?

I need to replace the rear wiper blade. No problem sourcing one, but how to remove from the (plastic) arm. It's probably snapped into place, but I don't want to push in the wrong direction and break anything (especially on a 12 year old car with brittle plastics). Can anyone please advise?
