bZ4X turns into Rental Car !!

The My-T app has always been flaky since we started using it in November 2022.

Sometime it cannot sign in, once it completely lost the profile and needed setup again, and other times simply does not connect.

Now we hve a new message.  Apparently our bZ4X is now a rental car according to My-T !!

It's a privately owned vehice and is only ever driven by us....

You couldn't make it up, could you? How frustrating, the app can be really bad but this just adds insults to injury.

+Every Sunday I have to enter my credentials again and again. Car notifys me for synchronisation problem then asks my password. Otherwise every 3 minutes a popup comes when I am using satnav 🤬. These persistent notifications are a serious safety issue! I can't focus on driving.

I had exactly this problem- very annoying indeed. But then it disappeared and so far has not returned. No idea why! All I can remember is after I completely reset the primary/secondary drivers so that both my wife and myself were recognised in the car- since then the problem has not returned. This was about 6 weeks ago.

Thank you for informing. Did you do factory reset or how? 😊 Can you please more info?

Not a complete factory reset but I just removed my login name as primary user from the car and then re-entered my details using the MyT login on multimedia device (QR code scan from mobile app) as if I was started from new. To be honest I'm not 100% sure that it was this that solved the problem- it seems to be a random occurrence, probably at the Toyota server end. Good luck anyway...
