Quick one lads/ladies...

I've searched through the forum but I've been unable to find a definitive answer. Is a 2007 (or 2008) Avensis 1.8VVTI throttle type electrical or cable driven? Looking to find out so I can look into the possibility of installing cruise control.

Any help at all would be greatly appreciated cheers

Hi,

you can browse here and find your model and engine then look for throttle body and see if electric or manual.

Top man Tony cheers! Now that I have ya, any knowledge of what I'm trying to do? I've read that if I buy a salvaged steering wheel with the cc on it, that it's plug and play? Much appreciated

No worries 👍 About the cc and steering wheel someone else will help,as I never done this change myself. Perhaps there should be a control module or the ecu of the car might be different.
