Is there a voice command to open and close the liner on the panoramic roof???

I managed it once, and now can't remember what I said as not been able to operate the shade since.
Did you find out the command?

Hi Jonathan, Correct me if I am wrong but I thought I read your model didn't have voice command for operating the panoramic roof or sunshade.Is there only manual buttons located on the overhead console or the cars touchscreen infotainment system that you operate this from.

If you do have voice commands for this it would be interesting to know.

Yes the BZ4X has voice commands and I was able to close the shade one evening using the voice command. But now I can't remember what I said as it seems 'Hey Toyota' only recognises very specific commands. 😞

They really don't make it easy, do they?

There is, supposedly, a "Help" that may give you a clue as to what command to use - but I bet you've already tried that.

They do say that you need to name stuff according to the standard Toyota name. In which case, the command you want is "Hey Toyota, close electronic sunshade" - but I suspect that you've already tried that too! 😉

To be honest I've not tried that. Usually the other half gets bored of me trying and just presses the button.

I also get the feeling that Hey Toyota is dependent on the data connection to process the commands as often it seems just just pretend to have not heard me

Hi Jonathan, if you can use voice commands on the sun shade then will it not document this in your owners manual."Hey Toyota" is designed for specific commands listed in the owner's manual. This is a link from a older post it may help as it lists what voice commands are available.Hope this helps
