Sorry Flash I never noticed it was the same seller haha.  I've just ordered it, thanks for baring with me I have a annoying tendancy of over thinking everything to a inch of insanity

If a 1.33 was burning oil, would you see it in the exhaust emissions? Like colouration or anything like that? Mine seems really clean can barely see any emissions.  Hoping that's a good sign.  Even with it needing a new lamba

At this point I would have to say no and I base that on my own experience of a 1.33L that has got through 10 litres of oil in the last year just for topping up. Emissions were essentially as low as could be when MOT'd 3 weeks ago.

I see nothing in normal driving but I know how to 'make it' produce enough smoke to do a total wipe out. Descend a hill in 3rd gear at say 30 to 50mph and then stamp on the gas at the bottom. Total wipe out.

That says valve guides and valve stem oil seals to me.

Can't really disagree on that Bob based on the symptoms as that traditionally would be the cause.

The only thing I have to go on is the early 1.33 has this well known problem of oil burning that it is well documented (and acknowledged by Toyota).
