Parking sensors

Hi strange question, ordered a new my 23 carolla, and wondered how easy it is to turn off audible parking sensor beeps when parking, we live down a small tunnel and want to able to turn off the audible sounds when we go home to stop the constant beeps, is there a button to press without having to enter a screen menu? Yes. It's a 'mute' option. Left hand steering wheel button, if I remember correctly.

I know a lady turned off rear parking sensors then hit a lamppost final bill just short of £200 pounds. (This Year none Toyota car)

I suppose that there’s situations where you don’t need them, but it’s a great facility to have.

On my 2019 model the dash display tells me to press “OK” to temporarily mute the bleeps. It resets on the next activation.
