My touch screen keeps freezing

Hi All 

I am new to the site and have just bought my Toyota Yaris 2016 and have a problem with my touch screen it keeps freezing even the buttons at the side do the same the only way I can get it to respond is to turn the car off and then it starts to work again. I have heard it may need an update dose anybody know how I go about doing that.

Does it have nav?

My unit is sometimes a bit slow to respond, but is generally OK about a minute after power-on. I've never seen it freeze. Do you have anything plugged into the USB when it happens?

Hi I dont have the sat nav on mine sometimes I have my charging cable plugged into USB but this happens even when nothing is plugged into it
