Engine codes

Hi all, I have a 1.3 Yaris 2013 plate automatic, and the engine on it has packed in, my code on it is R1N P22. Now am struggling to find the same one but there are lots of 1.3 engines with different engine code like 1NR FE. Now am wondering if this would fit mine but need to change all the transmission side. Any help is much appreciated.

What is wrong with the engine ?? Any codes, or has it mechanically died from lack of proper maintenance ? Yes it's the 1NR-FE 1.33 vvti, make sure the engine is from a Mk3 yaris

I have been told there is no compression in mine, the timing has slipped and damaged the valves, so am looking for a low mileage engine and have found one, but the code on it is 1NR FE as this is a manual gearbox and mine is automatic engine code R1N P22

Both cars are not start stop. So from what Flash22 is saying is I shouldn't have a problem with the engine. Once everything is swapped over it should be ok.

The engine code is 1NR-FE, R1N P22 is just the factory production code

The engines are the same instead of a flywheel it will have a flex plate

Flippin' heck, £350 for the whole engine?! My local breakers wanted over £600 for just the gearbox!!

FYI. 1NR-FE in the IQ has different bell housing bolt holes

I saw this on eBay from synetiq they are not that professional with customer service and after sales as am going through one at this moment in time for the Yaris engine, do t have a contact number and only way to contact them is through eBay which takes a long time. Also they provide 3 MTHS warranty for engine only (not plastic covers, casing etc) but you have to give them the old engine. Hope this is helpful for someone but please do be careful when buying from them.
