Intermittent beeping

We have just bought 2015 AURIS Hybrid and it beeps intermittently. Any ideas why? Can’t find anything in the manual, please

does it happen while you are driving? as far as I know it beeps when it is approaching speed cameras, some people dosen't like it, I don't care😀, i think you can disable it from the map settings.

Denise, are you using cruise control?  My Yaris Cross gives 3 beeps if the car exceeds the set speed. It also beeps with lane keeping assist if I cross the lane edge or centre line. 

Does yours have these functions?

Some cars beep when pre set speed alerts are set or on default,say 30 mph and 50 mph.

On a Honda CRV I had this, and it was different from the speed camera alert that David mentions.

So many beeps and bongs on cars now, they can take a bit of finding to shut them off.

I have a Yaris hybrid 2017 - it beeps all the time and very loudly! Is it possible to turn down the volume and if yes how? Thanks
