What is the resolution of the 8 inch screen on the Yaris MK4?

Hi, 

the resolution is low.
Don’t expect a Tesla or Rivian screen quality. The smaller infotainment screens are low to average for the cars of this class. 
larger screens on my 22 - 23 has better resolution for sure.

the reverse camera is composite NTSC so 480i

these systems are very secure and are not hackable with available pentest tools

iirc you can change the resolution in the AA app by accessing dev mode (tap on the version number 10 times)

and will it work? and won't it affect functionality? have you tried it?

That's something you need to find out for yourself, make sure your app and phone are up to date, I have used various Samsung phones with AA with no real issues
