Engine belt on Avensis, after how long to replace ?

Just wander about the engine belt on Avensis, after how long need to replace it (the belt on the water pump/alternator)?

You can inspect it and if it’s cracked then better get it replaced.
 You can also check your manual book too. If you buy aftermarket “Gates” are one of the best brands. 
Some aftermarket belts can cause squeaky noises even if they are properly tensioned. 👍

yep after market ones cause squeaks that can be annoying and plus if you are not bothered about ac and if its going to go out i would for sure advise to get a genuine toyota ac  belt and bypass the ac compressor as when they give out they are way to expensive to replace and when they go bad they will cause more stress on the engine and things ware out quicker. tbh when either my ac gives out or needs a new belt i will for sure be buy passing my ac compressor with a genuine toyota belt as i know it will give out some time

Today i take the belt out, it was very dry, i end up replacing it.

Original belt after 5 years and 60k km very dry  but with no cracks.

What engine was this, petrol or diesel? I replaced mine nearly 3 years ago, when I replaced the water pump on my Valvematic 1.8. The original belt had 11 years and 90,000+ miles. It had no cracks either.
