I need to get into the boot as the 12v is dead, but I cant seem to find away to access it via the key in the fob.
Anyone got any ideas as I really don't want to buy a starter module to fire the car up from fuse box in the engine bay as I only have a few months left on the lease.

You can just jump start the car from the engine bay points or charged the 12 v Battery from there with what’s charger or jump pack you have around. If you jump start with help if another car or recovery help then leave the car in ready mode for an hour. It might save you buying a new Battery but may not, you have to try to see what happens. 👍

Found the solution if it helps anyone else

The back door can be operated from the inside.
Best to drop rear seats and remove parcel shelf for better access.

1. Using a screwdriver, remove the cover.

To protect the cover, place a rag between the flathead screwdriver and the cover as shown in the illustration.

1. Remove Cover

2. Loosen screw  on white clip

3. Swing clip downwards

4. Move leaver downwards to open tailgate
