Toyota Auris Heater Problem

Hi, i own a toyota auris 1.4 Diesel. My car is blowing cold air on outdoor air circulation and and not really hot but some warm air on in cabin circulation, which would work for me in -20 but not for my windows as it starts to fog and then that fog instantly turns to frost. I am not sure if its the blend door problem of the heater. I check the coolant and it was fine. Extreme temperature days are here. I would appreciate some help.

Have you checked your AC gas? Does it need to be recharged?

First, check if the radiator and cooling system are bleed properly.

It is normal to be not hot if the car runs only less than 20 minutes in winter.  It takes about 30 minutes to have fully warm.  If it is foggy, it is because you close the vent/recirculation mode.  Either you turn the AC on or open the vent to reduce the fogging. The AC is used as dehumidifyer in winter in most newer car with climate control.  My Auris2 has climate control and it never gets foggy if I always turn the AC on in Auto mode and sometimes still need defogger mode if the  recirculation is on.
