Hi

i would really appreciate any possible suggestions. I’ve bought my daughter an aygo and the rear fog light and reverse light are not working.
the reverse camera is working

bulbs have been checked, switch on (or under) gear box fine, fuses checked, earth and wires checked but still not working??!!
many other suggestions please?? The mechanic is out of ideas, called Toyota and they wouldn’t advise without looking at it.
many thanks in advance

Dip or main on - then turn the rear fog on - any voltage getting to the bulb holder ? use bare metal or a bolt for ground when testing not the holder, does the tell-tail light on the dash come on for the fog ?

Did you buy from a dealer? If so, I'd be getting them to resolve it...

We’ve had the car a while and was ok initially, so dealer unlikely to touch it now (had car nearly a year)

The Aygo has a habit of relays coming loose the Rear fog light relay is on No.2 connector holder what is located behind and above the driver side internal fuse box

Apologies if this is a really stupid question, but do all aygos have an internal fuse box as well as one under the bonnet? I did look for one inside car but it wasn’t obvious.. do you have to remove stuff (other than a cover) to access it?

This connector holder is behind the fuse box, you will have to stick your head up under the dash (driver's footwell and look up)

the fuse box is by the driver's knee

Would suggest buy new bulbs, sometimes the eye cannot tell even though u think it's fine. That's the only to eliminate it's not the bulb.

It appears there is no electric going to the bulbs?! Is this going to be a case of having to track the wiring to see where the issue is? Sounds like car interior will have to be removed and be a massive job… am I right in thinking that?

Pick 1 circuit and diagnose it, no need to tear the car apart

Have you checked that relay ??

What ground did you use to test the bulb holder live ??
