Just been quoted £240 for an intermediate service at my local dealership for my 2020 model. Really can't afford these prices now. What alternatives are there? Thanks

Honestly if you’re not about main deal service on a recent Toyota best alternative is as diy. Main dealer service worth it as will include hybrid Battery health check and another year 10k miles warranty. If you go independent they may charger you around £150 or more , add £50 health check and you are close to the dealer price. If me either dealer or driveway service by myself. 👍

Please update your profile to include the 2020 model (currently showing a 2005).

A 2020 model may still have some of the new car warranty remaining unless it is over the mileage limit.

DIY servicing won't satisfy the warranty requirements.

Independent servicing may be cheaper, but any warranty work will still need to be done via a Toyota dealership. Plus you will need to keep detailed proof of servicing, etc, in case there is a future warranty claim, as independent garages won't have access to Toyota's electronic servicing records.

Consider a service plan to even out the cost by monthly payments
