Coming back - hopefully

I had the black centre caps replaced under warranty at 2 years old on my 2019 Yaris because the paint was coming off. When I sold it at 3 years old they were just as bad again. Paint was just peeling off. You might be better just repainting the ones you have.

Is this a one private owner car or perhaps a rental car? And is this at a Toyota dealer of an independent one?

It’s a 2-owner car, with last owners being an elderly couple. It’s also via a Kia Dealer who had it as a px.
Not sure who first owners were though, although mileage is low at 26k; car is 5 and a half years old.

Might just look at some aftermarket ones if that’s the case.

Fitted Dashcam today, greased checkarms, adjusted handbrake cable, set up Toyota on line and Installed audio software update via MyT.

Car definitely doesn’t have an alarm fitted.

Was also wondering when next sat nav update is due. Normally April and November time?

  • 3 weeks later...

Ordered the wheel centre caps last week and fitted them yesterday. £53 for all 4.

Hopefully, they last a few years. 🙏🏼

I’ll post some pics at some point.

I also updated sat nav - £35 eBay ( 2023 V1 ) and fitted centre armrest £70.

Some images attached. Chrome sill and bumper plates were already on car. Since fitted centre armrest, Dashcam, replaced sidelight/running light bulbs with xenon whiter light and new wiper blade.

Is the centre "armrest" the Toyota accessory that fixes to the seat rails? It is a much better fixing than, say Armster, which screws to the centre consul and wobbles around in time with the centre consul.

The problem with Toyota's is that one has to be a contortionist to use as an armrest!

Unlike Armster where it is possible to use as an armrest but needs contortions to use the handbrake.

Yes, it’s an armster and it is a bit wobbly due to lack of fixing on centre console.
Is it perfect? No. Sits a bit too far back imo, however, it does give good access to handbrake. As you say, many don’t. Bit if a trade off.

This armrest was £75 and took a few minutes to fit. Not sure how much the Toyota part is?
