Toyota RAV4 Side Steps removed

Hello to one and all. I've just purchased a RAV4 Excel 2 WD  8 months old Managers ex-demo 3,700 miles the dealership removed the side steps that were fitted before the car arrived at the dealership. Once removed from my rav4 the dealership told me they had replaced grommets in the holes that were left after the side steps were removed, Will the removal of the side steps invalidate any body work warranty like rust underneath the car. Advice pleas photo attached with side step parts number  PZQ44-42121

Sorry I meant to add a guy was saying

After doing some research into fitting the steps ,turns out you have to cut the rocker panels to allow the bolts to be fitted ! However if for some reason you wanted to remove the steps you would need to replace the rocker panels as you have cut holes in them and the replacements are around £500 for a pair ( quote this morning by my local dealer )
