Has anyone had unusual high footpedal engagements to cause clutch smelling when travelling in congested traffic or reversing up hill, it was really bad when new, has settled down a little (3000miles) but still not great, gears engage about 3” off floor but not fully until about 1.5” from top so causes a bounce effect as though it bites twice, 1st to pull of, then 2nd to really engage to pull off fast, it’s not easy to explain, Toyota are having a look into it next week so maybe it will get resolved.

This did not happen on the test drive GR four yaris!
