Hello...   I have 2001 CDX, Yaris, Petrol engine 998, it's a great little car.   I removed the back seat 3 years ago, before going on a camping holiday, it's never been back, the space I created has proven to be more than useful, it's amazing what will fit in the boot.

My most recent discovery; Toyota seem to have improved the emission(s) of a Yaris, in, or around 2003.

The HC Emissions changed from 0.12 g/km in 2002 to 0.05g/km in 2003. The HC + NOx emission (of 0.01)  bring the THC to .06 g/km

With a lower THC your 2003 Toyota Yaris becomes ULEZ compliant, ie EURO 4

What prompted this little bit of research was still seeing some early Yaris models scooting around London and I couldn't understand why.

I'm looking forward to reading hints an tips to do with Yaris models.

Best wishes.... Phil
