C HR 2023 - problems with the Sat Nav

Recommended Posts

Posted

I picked up the new C HR hybrid at the weekend having had a Corolla hybrid before.
I'm struggling with the satnav.  I can't rename the favourites and the favourites list is in most recent order instead of alphabetical, making searching a complete nightmare.  Also, if I want to change the volume on the radio when the satnav happens to speak, it changes the satnav volume instead which is actually a huge distraction while driving.

Can anyone advise if I'm missing a menu option or function?  Or, considering the satnav is cloud based, will these issues be fixed?

Hi, I have just picked up my GR Sport and moved from a CHR Excel and the Sat Nav's are completely different. You are right and is annoying and once the volume has gone to zero you can only get it to raise if you catch the Sat Nav talking but it pure guess work.

The graphics are worse and information shared is far less that the Excel and the colour of the back screen is rubbish and the daylight hours change is far to dark, very dramatic.

I am disappointed and these changes are not good.
