hey,

I'm the guy who had the jammed tape deck, my dad decided against letting me put in a new HU, but me being a 18 yr old lad, did it anyway! But showed it and he's pleased with it and gutted that i did it and now he actually loves it.

Puttin it in was fine and its all good, however, in between songs when its searching for songs etc. on cds, you can hear and kinda of clicky interference, its not a big deal just a tad annoying? any idea for whats causing it? I was thinking it might be the mounting screws and someone elseon here had that problem but there the right size and as far as i can tell not touching the circuts?

clicking sound comes from inside the player, its the sound of the laser moving to read different tracks on the cd

Yeah, but it comes through the Speakers?

mite be a tiny bit of ground loop interfearance.

make sure youve got a solid and sturdy earthing point

check all connections and that none of the cables are traped at the back of the unit,

wel done on fitting it may u enjoy many hours of good music!

ul hear the noise even more if u hava sub!
