2007 T25 headlights acting up wont shut off

The other night the hazard lights came on after coming home from work with everything turned off.
Took out the fuse to make it stop and went to bed.
But in the morning Battery was dead.
Charged it and took the other T25 to work.
In the evening put the fuse back. Then the headlights wouldnt turn off. Driving it everything normal, only when turned off it acts up. Then the hi beam would not turn off.
Took out the relay to stop it. Then went looking for the source of the problem.
Hazard light switch was ok.
Figured it must be the light switch. Unplugged it. No change - lo beam still on. But by now hi beam and hazard lights were off. Rear lights off.
And that is where I am at. Thinking first this must be a grounding problem?
But going to try switching the light ECUs between the two T25s.
Have you had anything similar?
Car is a 2.0 D4D station wagon.

I thought there was an ECU for the lights but couldnt find any.
There's the alarm, but I dont see how that would affect the headlights?
So stumped for the moment. Could engage car electrician but hard to know how much it will cost. From little to too much.
Driving by Toyota next, to have a chat.

Skipped Toyota, found the perfect place. A car electrician.
When they know their job, they are like magicians to me.

He wen straight to the problem. BCM module 8264105040. Corrosion on four of the pins of the circuit board.
Toyota avensis verso 2. 0vvti блок bsi 89221- 44050

Cleaned them and then everything worked ok.
Replaced two relays. Two hr job. £100.
