Hi all, my name is Brian and I am a long-term resident of Belgium, living on the famous Napoleonic battlefield. I am new to the world of Toyota and took delivery of my Yaris Cross Adventure, with the Comfort Pack, just over a week ago. I decided last November that my 2010 Qashqai 2-litre Executive was just costing too much to run and, with the gradual tightening of anti-pollution regulations, like me, it was overdue for retirement. Consequently, I went to see my Nissan dealer, who is also is a Toyota dealer. Features that I loved on my Qashqai, like the CVT gearbox, are no longer available on Nissan cars so the dealer recommended the Yaris Cross and I was hooked.

I've been reading the contibutions to this forum for the last few months so I decided to sign-up and look forward to joining the debates. As a former vehicle laboratory manager I may even be able to offer some expertise, athough technology has advanced enormously since  I left the profession.
