Ae86 Trueno & Ae86 Levin?

Can someone tell me what the differences is? Do they look slightly different?

Just a question out of interest if anyone can answer it.

Trueno had pop up headlights whereas the Levin didn't.

Think the rear lights design was slightly different as well...

Apart from that, they were mainly the same. The Trueno was never sold in Europe and Australia, only got the Levin.....

exact same car except for the front lights, wings etc, you can convert a trueno into a levin very easily by swaping the front beam that goes across the front in front of the radiator and the rest bolts on.

As for the lights they are almost the same except they are jap style.

Oh right, so they didnt bring out more trueno's then.

This must be a later Levin seeing that's my mates mates car in the photo.

The boys are talking AE86's. Of course, there are later FWD Truenos, such as the AE111 Trueno BZG. They are good cars in their own right but are better used as engine/loom/ECU donors for the AE86...

I dont think you have to swap out the cross member dude. The wings and nose on a Trueno is longer, thats why the lights fit.. I think.
