Import car mechanics in Norfolk?

Hi, thanks for having me, this is my first post so forgive me if this information is dotted about the forum

Does anybody have any recommendations as to who is good with Japanese imports and familiar with the procedure for changing the transmission fluid on the 2.4 non hybrids?

Mine is a 2011 model

Hi and welcome.

Quite a lot has been written about the Toyota CVT. it’s a precisely engineered unit and requires specific transmission oil extracted and filled appropriately.

Facebook forums also offer info and some have PDF files to download and assist.

Thanks for your advice. Which Facebook group is the correct one please? There's so many?

 

Also my regular mechanic has said he can do the gearbox job but I don't think imports are his normal kind of car to work on or speciality so is it the kind of job I can trust and leave him with or do you  need a special procedure/tools to do or can any kind of mechanic work on replacing the ATF fluid on these cars?

Might be worth a try contacting Andy's Imports at Honingham/Norwich...they import/convert loads of Japanese vehicles so must have some ideas/facilities to deal with them.?
