Time to upgrade multimedia system

Hi,

I wanna change the awful multimedia system on my Yaris Hybrid 2017, max 300€ and I wanna know if a chinese multimedia is worth the price, or I have to choose a Pioneer system
The one I'm looking is this: V1 Pro 8/256 and the seller told me that I will have steering wheel comands and OEM camera, but not the hybrid info

My biggest request is wifi Apple car play and an Android multimedia system, so I can install Hybrid assistant on the car tablet and see all the info with my OBD

You get what you pay for, wireless car play is usually on higher end models, these Chinese units are never plug and play, support and warrantee is on you

that's not a problem, is a >450€ unit in europe shop that I found at nearly 300€ on aliexpress, the cables are plug&play with a guide, with 10+ positive feedbacks that all works...my question is: is on the web a multimedia unit like the pioneer that has wheel control and OEM camera connection?

'cause if the pioneer costs 400€, I'll go with that unit and not the chinese one

I've recentley swapped out the headunit to a Eonon Q67 Pro, it does Apple car play and android auto. It took a couple of hours to sort the wiring out with an adapter etc but now its all setup working with my steering wheel controls and reverse camera i love it. sounds a lot better and fits in the OEM slot that the TNS510 came out of.

Wheel controls and camera retention not an issue, adapters are available

The aliexpress kit has all the adapters (also a new rear camera, but there is a way to connect the OEM camera) 

 

I think the 8gb ram will be good

on an Avensis but if its the same 7" screen size then it should fit.

Nearly the same, but in Italy I'll pay that >300€, the aliexpress module has 8ram 256rom and 300€ 🙂

What can I say....it works!! Back camera, wheel buttons, impressive speed, impressive audio tuning, miles, speed, temperature, hybrid info and fuel info....300€, it works perfectly! 

some negative points:

the screen is reflective, I'll buy a matte screen protector;

the back camera is near 25/30fps and not fluid as the OEM one;

the OEM back camera is faster, nearly 1sec faster;

the frame not fit perfectly (see photo)

for me, it's a 10!
