2002 RAV4 1.8 Petrol - Need a new Fuel Tank

Hi, I wonder does anyone know where I can buy a new full tank for my 2002 RAV4 1.8 petrol NV vehicle ? It`s only got 70K on it and the car is almost mint, but I can`t find a replacement tank for under £500

Those that are for sale are in Poland and Lithuania, which is a bit mad for postage costs.

Can we assume you have tried all the breakers in GB & NI.??

It seems to be a common problem with the early RAV4`s, so I thought it might be a better idea to get a new one, or have it refurbed.

The only place in Northern Ireland I can find that does this sort of work is Brownlow`s in Lurgan. I am far side of Ballymoney, and with all the petrol heads and rally fans

in County Antrim, I thought there might be somebody closer to home. Any scrapyards I have contacted about tanks, say they are either gone already, or the cars too old for them to keep bits for.
