2014 Aygo head unit upgrade

Hi, I'm brand new to this forum so I apologise in advance if this question has been asked.

I have a 2014 (64) Aygo X-Play (basic spec) and wanted to upgrade the standard head unit to the later 3 button unit with Android Auto.

The unit is super easy to swap however the DAB and Android Auto doesn't work.

The USB port at the bottom works with the standard head unit but not with the upgraded version.

Any advice? Thanks in advance

What version is the software ?, have you tried the usb port with usb stick with a few mp3's on it, if you haven't, yet you need to set up the dab, so it tunes for your local area, did you already have DAB if it not you do not have a dab aerial that plugs into the blue socket
