2.0 hybrid corolla p0084 code

Just done a quick code scan using car scanner and have this code showing, anyone else had problems like this

As Graeme said, are there any problems (it sounds like you haven't got a warning light on the dash)? Try clearing the code, driving the car and then seeing if it comes back. A fault code doesn't necessarily mean that the 'fault' is still there, a lot of them can be generated by low voltages if the Battery runs flat/is disconnected or if something is unplugged when work is done.

Only recently got this car and there was a couple of codes showing, I'd guessed car may have been sitting and Battery flat so cleared codes.... This code keeps coming back.. No dash lights on and running fine... But still under warranty so may be a dealer visit, just seeing if anyone else has had this and any easy fix.

Can you open the bonnet and look closely the egr valve wire and all wire harness for rodent attack or been damaged by any means, or disconnected. Because if the fault description.

Would suspect that is the vvt solenoid. Would check oil level as these are pressure fed.
