When did Toyota stop using the trustworthy 2D4D 2.0 diesel engine ?

The facelift that went on sale from March 2015, used the BMW N47 diesels (1.6 & 2.0) in place of the previous Toyota units.

If you mean the 1CD-FTV, around 2005 I think?

If you mean the AD-series, they were around a lot later, maybe 2018? but I'm not sure if you mean those as they were a lot less trustworthy until later revisions!!

Assuming you don't mean the early 2.0 1CD 1999-2005 and are referring to the 1AD 2005-2015?

Toyota started using the BMW 1WW 1.6d engine in:

Verso 1.6d 2014> 

Auris 1.6d 2015>

Avensis 1.6d 2015 > as well as the BMW 2WW 2.0d

Rav4 2015> 2WW only
