AHA Radio & Touch 2 with Go

I know I'm probably wasting my time asking this question but perhaps someone can help. I have a 2019 C-HR with AHA Radio and Touch 2 with Go. AHA is a rubbish piece of software the AHA went out of business over 10 years ago so why the hell are Toyota still selling and supplying it?

You'll find you won't be able to get it to work reliably using a Wi-Fi hot spot, however, I did get it to work for the past few months using a bluetooth connection which was pretty reliable, not withstanding the dozens of bugs in the software. Two dealers admitted they had never been able to get it to work.

From yesterday it fails to connect returning "Server down for maintenance" which it's not as I can connect to AHA on other platforms.

Toyota try to distance themselves by saying it's not their software and are not responsible, this is actually unlawful, they have sold it and are responsible regardless of who wrote the software, there are dozens of firmware and software applications, anti-lock braking, cruise control, engine management etc. that are bought in and sold by Toyota and, of course they are responsible for them.

Just wondered if anyone has been able to get any sense out of this crap AHA software, is it still supplied on new vehicles?

Make sure you log into My T and download the TLS 1.2 update what is free

This TLS 1.0/1.1 known security and privacy vulnerabilities were fixed with the update version 1.2. TLS1.2 Software update will be free of charge. Service communication via TLS1.0 and TLS1.2 will remain available until April 3rd, 2023. As from that date, all 13/16MM customers which have not applied the specific software update/patch will not be able to use online services (e.g. Weather, Parking, Traffic, Coyote, AHA-Radio, E-Store)

Toyota are dropping the TLS 1.0/1.1 from the server, as of 03/04/2023

Flash22, I've already done that.

Just use your phone with whatever streaming app you like

tbh these connected services were abandoned a long time ago, no one really develops for the QNX, the system is so secure you can't even install anything if you wanted even tho the system uses "open source" software

Just a thought, you are aware that the connected services are a paid service either on their own or included in a map update

If this update was installed in car, then latest map/software update added after, do you have to reinstall TLS update?
