Haven’t been here in a while…

Hi, I have been a forum member for a while, however, I have had no Toyota! I am buying a 2008/08 Avensis 2.0 D4D estate, 124k three-owner vehicle in very good order for £1295.  Am I correct in assuming that the head gasket issues are generally associated with the 2.2 diese engine? I understand that the 2.0 can also suffer with injector issues?  This is a trade sale and there is no history of a clutch/flywheel change so far.  Are there any issues I can expect with this car?  I appreciate that, as I will be doing mainly local trips in the car (it’s basically a car to take the dog walking!) I’ll need to take it for a regular blast to avoid DPF issues.  I generally feel, however, if a fifteen year old car has only had three owners it probably hasn’t been a problematical vehicle.  The service history consists of a folder full of invoices.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated thank you!

Looks quite fresh for it's age Dave, can you scan it for fault code history, etc ?
