Current standard size is 185/55/15.

I’m sure 195’s will fit on the wheel?

Try this web page for more information, it’s quite clever

Tire Size Calculator

Saying that, if you put 195’s on, your speedo will 1.9% too slow!!

When your speedo reads 60mph you are actually doing 61.1.

But if you go upto a 195 section, you should drop the profile to a 50 (like on the SR's as standard) or even a 45 (which is what I'm on... ContiSport Contacts! :D )

It seems the information I got of the tyre web site is incorrect then

Just goes to show you can’t trust everything you read :crybaby:

So i shouldnt have a problem fitting 195/50/15 on the standard rims?

Lee

According to the Miata Tire Size Calculator which could be totally wrong, fitting 195/50/15 will give you a speedo reading 1.5% too fast.

When the speedo reads 60mph you are doing 59.1

Maybe...

*I'll get my coat... :D
