Just fitted my new toys and noticed that when you put main beam on the dipped goe's out, As anyone done a mod so they stay on??

Nope .. its cause of the stock toyota loom .. you'd need to re-wire the car to do it ..

There is a way as we have done it.... it has somthing to do with in line resistors and uprated fuses.... I'll look in to it.

Ok here we go,

you use a diode to make it work but having done it we realised its not safe as you run twice as much current through the wires which are not designed to take it....... could cause potential fire so I'm being told to warn you off it.

I'll have a word with a friend to see if he can come up with some way round the problem - he's an electronics genius and am sure he can come up with the goods....... I'll be in touch.

I think it looks good like this .... like a police car if you fitted blue lights !!

My car originally had them all stay on when on full beam because I had some weird after market relays and wiring in my car. One of the relays were knackered tho so I had to revert back to toyota stock wiring.
