Help Choosing 16" Wheels

I currently have 17" Fox Evo 3s in Silver but I want to go down to 16" wheels as I've heard they handle better.

I have Koni Springs to fit and will be getting some KYB AGX adjustable shocks soon.

I quite like the style of my wheels and they do them in 16" with titanium finish which looks awesome, the package is £500 but thats with budget tyres and not correct sizes. I can't go over £600 for the whole tyre/wheel package and here is some of the options, I also like the Pro race 2 ones B)

My car is Zircon Blue aswell by the way...

Strongest? what am i going to do smash my car up a curb?

well my rims were on a different car before .. and there is a large dent from the previous owner going backwards into a forrest ..

If they'd been Fox alloys, not BBS I guarentee they'd be in lots of little pieces by now ..

I have fox alloys and they are a little soft. I tend to park about a foot away from the kerb these days.and they get a refurb every 6 months.

cheap alloys like fox, et al (high street types) will buckle if you hit a pot hole very easily. Stuff like BBS, Rays, TOms, Blitz, Oz are much lighter and stronger.

Get a second hand set of quality rims and have them refurbed.

my TOMs C7 16"s

I've got a set of lightweight Rays Engineering (Volks Racing) 16" x 7.5 rims going. Very, very expensive new. Polished rim... proper centre nut to cover the wheel nuts. Need a slight refurb, but will let them go for a reasonable price. They do have tyres, but barely legal.

Will post a pic later...

I got my old 16" lightweight, split rim Enkei's off Jap eBay and had them shipped via a mate .. £250 ..

I then got my BBS rims for £350 and sold the Enkei's for what I paid for them ..

For good brand names have a watch of any motorsport (especially Jap racing) - you'll see the ones with a bit of class ..
