How do I update New Type Sat nav which says contact dealer?

As your car is less than 3 years old you should have free updates. 

If it is the version with buttons both sides of the display you should be able to update UK Maps over the air. 

Many will advise using your computer and downloading the western Europe mapping to a USB pen.  There was plenty on here in the last couple of days.

My dads 2022 CHR (same nav unit) needed updating via USB stick after it too said contact dealer. If you log in to My Toyota you can ‘purchase’ (free) the latest map & download to a USB, the instructions are clear & easy to follow. You need a 32gb USB stick, formatted to FAT32. I bought one from Argos for £6 which was formatted ready to go. You have to leave the car in READY mode the whole time - takes around 30mins on these newer models.

Hi Both. My 2021 touring sport does not have Touch 2 Go so hence my asking how to update.

                Just tried to purchase from E store but says NOT Available for this car so looks like I will                    have to bite the bullet and contact the dreaded dealer.
