Still Running

Well had the annual bet on the grand national on Saturday and had a phone call this morning from the bookmaker to tell us that the 3 horses we backed are still running.😅

Did anyone who had a bet have any luck?

Father-in-law won £220 and wife had a 3rd place and won £6.50. Mine fell.

With my luck at gambling, if I backed the only horse in a one horse race, I would still lose.

It's exactly the same with us we only have a bet once a year on the national but it's pretty much the same with the national lottery. My wife does it every week but as I have said to her we would have more chance of a wet fish landing on my head and saying hello Bob then winning that.😅

We had a charity sweepstake in the office, both of my horses (picked at random) are probably still running 😂

(at least my 'donation' helped a charity)

The horses didn't win but the charity did 👍
