Australian SATNAV map to European mals

Hi I purchased a 2020 RAV 4 that was originally bought new in Australia. It has Australian maps on it. As I am now based in Ireland I am trying to get European maps into the car. Toyota Ireland tell me it can’t be done. Any suggestions!

Have a look on toyota-tech.eu, I know you can change map configuration but im not sure on region

Not sure if changing the nav module will work

You may want to check that the system can actually pick up satellites before swapping/paying for software/hardware as each GPS satellite has a unique frequency these frequencies are programmed into the receiving device and in the cars I have seen such as JDM imports Toyota hav not programmed the receivers to detect European satellites.

I am aware there are companies that can change hardware/reprogramme original units to work
