Hi,

I'd like to replace the wiper arms on my GTi, they've gone rusty so would like to replace them. Does anyone know what are my options?

Cheers,

ICE

the ones from a 99> corolla are a direct fit. for the rear i brought one from a new corolla and modded to fit ( cut down the bit where it bolts on) fits a treat.

They are still available from any Toyota Dealer...but at a price!!! I know the full blade alone can be around £20+ each, which is why Toyota thankfully do a refil (around £4) which they will kindly fit, while you wait for free! DO NOT FIT AFTERMARKET REFILLS they just squeak and judder, I know, 'cause I found out the hard way.

If too expensive from Toyota try a firm called 'Fensport', about 8 years ago a friend off mine used to use them for spares (Had an AE82 gt & an AE92 GTi) apparantly they 'break' older Toyotas.

well, they say they do, and list AE82 parts on the website, but ive enquired about around 10 different parts for mine, and they've never had it. not sure what they're like on AE92 stuff

Is that for both front and the rear arms?

Cheers all,

They're just as bad for AE92's.

Not their fault as such. They just haven't had any old ones in for breaking in the last couple of years!!
