MR2 values are abit bizzare as you can find some really cheap and really expensive, they do tend to vary a lot...

I guess at the end of the day once you've seen the car and driven it (taking that you have looked at a couple of others as well) you have to ask yourself whether you would be happy parting with your money for that car.

5k for yours sounds very good, almost to good. It may be worth trying to find someone close to your location wha has more knowledge of MR2's to get them to go and have a look at the car with you and get a second opinion or get the RAC/AA to do a full vehicle check...

You may have got lucky and found yourself a real bargain........But go careful-there are twice as many tired old turbo models out there as there are clean ones. As Ryan said in previous post, get it checked out properly.
