Hello all. Picked up my 2022 CHR a couple of days ago so first time on this forum although I’ve been on the RAV4 forum for many years and still have a 13 year old RAV. I’m over the moon with the CHR and the way it drives but there’s one thing I can’t work out re the infotainment.

When I’m connected to Apple play or Android auto the whole screen is taken up by the display and I can’t work out how to get from there back to the Home Screen (the one with icons down the left hand side)? The infotainment in my car is the later one without the physical shortcut buttons at each side.

I’ve gone through the user manual but I’m still stumped. Can anyone assist?

The should be a Toyota icon on the ACP or AA screen that takes you back to the multimedia home screen:

I don't have that system but that's what the manual seems to suggest ... 😉

On the bottom rightof the screen you should see an icon that looks like a keyboard, Pres this once, and the screen splits into the carplay map, radio, and a third screen (can;t remember what). Press the keyboard icon again, and the screen will then look like the second picture Phillip24h has posted. Press the Toyota logo and you should be back to the screen you are talking about

And in other (unrelated) news I’ve now got the clock showing the time in 24 hour format and the first brim to brim fuel consumption worked out at 50.2mpg. Promising start.

Not too bad. Is it the 1.8 or the 2.0?

My first brim to brim fill up gave me 56.46mpg. This included a combination of about 60/40 motorway city driving

It’s a 2.0 version and it was just local journeys.
